Opine Experts is a highly-personalized service provider to the legal profession, matching attorneys with experts in the real estate industry. The company is organized around virtual work spaces. The successful applicant will be highly comfortable working in a virtual world.

Hours: M-F 9-5:30
Compensation: $25-$26/hr DOE. Medical Allowance: $300 month which increases with seniority. Transportation: $50 month reimbursement allowance. Earned Personal Time Off, (PTO) plus company holidays.
Reporting: Position Reports to Director of Administration but will regularly interact and make presentations to company owners.
Position summary:
Position requires an individual with impeccable customer service skills, as well as legal and general office administrative knowledge. The wide-ranging and interesting duties will include scheduling and confirmation of appointments for others, document review and editing for spelling and grammar, varied research projects, marketing and miscellaneous administrative support functions as well as extensive data entry.
Highlights of the position tasks and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Personally assist company principals and Directors, when asked or as needed
- Responsible for coordination of case openings and closures, including necessary data entry and hard-copy files
- Set-up new case inquiries as presented, which includes database entry
- Assist in tracking cases; monitor, report and track deadlines
- Create and maintain case files in hard copy and electronically
- Instruct and assist clients, attorneys, outside legal assistants, and in-house experts with technology issues, such as Central Desktop, Google Email, and Voice mail system
- Handle sensitive and confidential information, assisting experts and preparing case materials for deposition and trial
- Maintain and develop as requested Excel and Central Desktop databases for marketing
- Conduct research, including research on Federal and State Court Case Filings
- Use typical office equipment on regular basis such as, computer, printer, scanner, fax machine, postage meter, computer scanners etc.
- Marketing tasks include:
- Create e-blasts and postal mailings for marketing initiatives
- Organize seminars and events
- Upload content to company website
- Coordinate and process Mediation/Arbitration cases

- Professional Personal Appearance – Willingness and ability to consistently dress and groom to maintain a professional demeanor
- Ability to Communicate – Superb written and verbal skills required to both obtain and convey information accurately and effectively. Accuracy, clarity, timeliness and thoroughness are crucial to Company’s professional and demanding clientele

- Ability to follow instructions - Willingness and interest in taking time to fully understand points made, asking clarifying questions as appropriate or necessary

Education, Experience and Physical Requirements:
Education: Paralegal or Legal Studies Degree
Experience: Minimum three years legal-administrative experience
Real Estate License required within one year of hire.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to sit for up to three hours continuously and eight hours with scheduled breaks.
• Must be able to enter data with equipment provided for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk utilizing stairs and elevator, and run errands on foot up to 1/2 mile each way.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to cheerfully and professionally communicate with and be understood by callers over the telephone and in person with visitors and other team members.

PT Receptionist/Administrative Assistant: POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED -
M-F from 9-2:30.
$17-18 per hour, DOE, plus $100 per month starting medical coverage allowance, which increases with seniority. Up to $50 monthly reimbursement allowance towards transportation expenses. Earned Personal Time Off (PTO) based upon seniority and time worked, plus company holidays.
Reports to Director of Administration
Position summary:
A person with an extremely positive outlook and very easy-going personality is needed to join our team to perform administrative, secretarial and reception functions, as well as extensive data entry and filing, scanning and photocopying of documents, scheduling and confirmation of appointments, routing and providing information to callers. Tasks will occasionally include basic marketing tasks and other administrative and technical support roles. The position is perfect for a self-starter who is naturally interested in many things who has not yet made a firm commitment to a career direction. The successful team applicant will have access to numerous business areas, and gain exposure to many skill sets to help them begin to focus their permanent career direction.
Highlights of the position include:
- Extensive data entry, filing, and appointment coordination.
- Answer incoming calls, greet and direct callers to voice mail, to meetings or provide information.
- Compile, copy, sort, scan and load to web, file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
- Communicate with customers, employees, callers and on-site visitors to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, route calls and address complaints.
- Revise, update and or create Word, Publisher and PowerPoint materials and presentations on occasion as requested.
- Operate communication systems, including telephone, intercom, and building entry systems.
- Track and coordinate fax and photocopies.
- Learn to efficiently operate and trouble-shoot existing and new office technologies as they are developed and implemented.
- Coordinate company events, including holiday party
- Monitor, RSVP, complete applications for industry events and fundraisers
- Assist president and vice-president in coordinating personal schedules; make travel arrangements, appointments and reservations as requested.
- Make minor web site updates using www.SquareSpace.com and Craigs List.
- Prepare documents, letters and information packets as directed or requested.
- Maintain a clean, orderly and neat desk and personal work space.
- Typical dress is business attire with casual Friday as exception.

- Proficient in MS Office products - Key software programs are Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to engage in short business writing such as letters or memos. Most office correspondence is available in standard form letters which can be formatted to the needs of the user. Selection of proper form document and attention to detail is critical.
- Disposition - Calm, assuring and a cooperative can-do attitude is essential. Must enjoy working, meeting and interacting with other people during most of the work day.
- Initiative - Ability to motivate and coordinate the best use one's own time.
- Curious - An inherit interest in learning and improving personal business skills.
Education and Experience Levels:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required; Some college courses or advanced career training preferred; Minimum 3 years data-entry and extensive experience and use of Outlook for calendaring, organizing and as a communication tool. Experience in a real estate, property management, banking or appraisal environment a plus.
